Sherland & Farrington uses in-house installation teams in order to deliver the highest quality service and installation. We offer a complete range of industrial and specialty floor products to cover just about any surface, and our workforce of installers know how to install it all.

Our installers are trained and qualified to be the best in the industry. Sherland & Farrington installers are certified by INSTALL, which is an alliance of major flooring mills, manufacturers, consultants, and contractors across the United States and Canada.

Better through association

Sherland & Farrington was the first INSTALL certified firm in New York. We believe working with the best associations will ensure that we exceed the highest standards in the flooring community, as well as to raise the bar to new heights for others. INSTALL is the finest and most comprehensive flooring installation training program in the business, and INSTALL stands behind its Warranty Contractors with a one-of-a-kind INSTALL Warranty on Labor, which backs the work of its certified installers. The installation branch of INSTALL is the flooring installation members of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, INSTALL Local 2287.

Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund

The Promotional Fund is responsible for the advancement of the floor covering industry and does so by constantly elevating industry standards; providing health seminars; hosting technical forums, OSHA compliance courses and first aid and CPR training, all directed toward assuring the continuing education of our participants and their employees and at the same time, enhancing the public perception of the floor covering contractor.

The Greater New York Floor Coverers Industry Promotional Fund is especially proud of its achievements in the area of public education by establishing and maintaining the Francis J.P. McHale Scholarship Program which to date, has provided scholarships for forty-two children of members of INSTALL Local 2287.
